2 W Robert Oatley Signature Robert Oatley Margaret River, Australia 12.5 12.99 Pleasant but simple. Not over oaked and some thought it was old world. Bright, medium weight retaining long fine acidity  
3 W Macon-Lugny 2022 Cave de Lugny, Louis Latour Lugny, Macon, France 13 13.99 Appellation Macon-Lugny. Made in large quantities in stainless steel! No mumbo jumbo about oak, just good scientific wine making. Second, Best Value
4 R Bourgogne 2022 Cave de Lugny Maconnais, France 12.5 13.99 Basic Burgundy: Bourgogne Regional Appellation, Typical good house wine at a reasonable price.  
5 R Pinot Noir 2022 Ernst Loosen Pfalz, Germany 12.5 11.99 Prize winner for his MoseL wines Now producing PN in southern location. Bright withn red fruits and balanced acidity but lacking body. Good for lunch.  
6 R Home Block 2022 Martinborough Martinborough, New Zealand 13.5 26.99 One of NZ leading producers of Pinot Noir. Same latitude in Sothern Hemisphere as Burgundy.. South of North Island. Super wine perfectly balanced with elegent fruit flavours, seductive aromas. of red cherry spice tobacco and earth. First
7 R Au Bon Climat Pinot Noir Au Bon Climat Santa Barbara, USA 13.5 26.24 Mix of grapes from different vinyards and one of the more modest offerings of the house, excellent wine of some complexity with rich plummy notes  
8 Rr Le Petits Epenots 2019 Pommard 1er Cru, Loubet-Dewailly Pommard, France 14 40 Appellation Pommard Premier Cru from the Epenots vinyard. Lots of flavour with sufficient dryness to avoid being overwhelming . But behind the NZ surprisingly. Third Equal
9   Duchesse de Magenta 2016 Abbaye de Morgeot Chassagne-Montrachet, France 13.5 30 Appelletion Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru south cote de rhone. Full flavour serious Burgundy but not perhaps their best year. Perhaps we were a bit saturated by the time we reached this one! Third Equal
